Hello! I’m glad you’re here. I’d like to tell you a story about a girl who grew up in church and thought she knew Jesus. Then that girl learned what it really means to be surrendered and walk out her faith. She learned this when she sincerely prayed for wisdom and clarity, read the Bible prayerfully, and here’s the key—witnessed others living surrendered to Jesus. It was quite a transformation. And she’s still being transformed.

Who is this I’m talking about? It’s me!

My name is Amy Hairr. I was born and raised in North Carolina, and probably won’t leave unless the Lord makes me. It’s the best. I’m married to my amazing husband, Hunter. We’ve been together half our lives! He has watched me grow up and grow in faith.

I have learned there is strength in surrender. There is strength in obedience to the Lord. I wrote a book about each topic! Go read them! The first book is about my surrender journey and the second book is about learning obedience in faith. I realized that I had it backwards and now I want EVERYONE to know the truth. I don’t want you having to unlearn religion, complacency, and compromise like I did. Go find out truth for yourself. Go read the Bible for yourself. Go ask the Lord what He has to say to you. I didn’t even realize He still spoke to people, for real for real, in today’s times. Thought that was for Bible time. Oops.

Guess what? Bible time IS today time. It’s the foundation of everything. It’s alive. It’s still applicable. God is still the same God. God still moves, often using His followers.
